This month has sure brought it's ups and downs in regards to emotions much like the weather we've been treated to. So it's great to look back and remember all the positives that have happened this month.
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.. It's learning to dance in the rain".
Life is so much better when you think of all the things you are greatful for in life and A Cornish Mum aka Stevie's monthly linky is a great way in which to take a moment and reflect on all the great stuff. So here I am looking back on a month that despite it's upsets has gone rather quickly and has held a number of positive moments.
Growing Cress
We've had a mixture of April showers and sunshine as well as a thunder storm thrown at us for good measure. This has had a great impact on our garden as was spotted by the blossom in full bloom at the end of our garden and our cress.
Visiting National Trust Places
April also saw in Easter and we attended a great Easter egg hunt run by the National Trust over at Badbury Woods. Then a week later we visited Coleshill Secret Underground Bunker. So secret I'm still not sure what it's doing there but we had fun and although the girls may not understand everything presently they are being exposed to history something that hubby is passionate about.
The Girls' Bedrooms
The girls bedrooms are slowly but surely taking shape. We are doing all the work ourselves with a lot of help from my father. We've just got the finishing touches to do now and are on the look out for a wardrobe for my eldest. It certainly seems like when you start one project you think of another and so on around the house.
The A-Z challenge
Finally we have been enjoying creating things (such as the kite above) in line with the alphabet challenge hosted by Karen from Two Tiny Hands. It has led to our fine motor skills being used and learning about the environment we live in.
So that was my round up of what has happened in April. How was the month for you?
What a lovely round up. We too have lots of decorating to do and I totally get how one job leads to another! It's the story of our lives at the minute.
