This week my word for the week has to be 'staycation'. For we've spent the week all together at home. The girls love their Daddy being at home and it's lovely to take a step back and have a lovely hot cup of tea for once. The girls love their father greatly so it did make me laugh when eldest turned around and said to me. 'Daddy go to work?' to which I replied 'no' only for her to reply 'naughty Daddy!'. She is so used to asking and hearing that he's at work that it came as a pleasant surprise that he wouldn't be going in during the week.
He had hoped we would go on a lengthy walk but sadly the girls have either been asleep once we've reached our destination or the weather has been against us! So instead we've been keeping close to home doing the odd geocache close to the road, attended toddler group together and been to the park.
It's been good for me too as I've got out of the house and had a bit of me time. Usually it's a rare opportunity to have access to the car so I've been out lots more and have done a bit of shopping. I'm currently loving buying new home decor and there's some lovely things about.
