This week I've felt a bit confused as to what day it is. If it weren't for the linkies then I would be totally at a loss to know which one I faced. This hasn't been helped by my poor babies who have been dealing with colds throughout the week and have been waking throughout the night! When tiredness strikes it's time to take a break and indulge in some self care. These have been the things I've indulged in this week.
Despite my tiredness I've soldiered through the week and surrounded myself by things I enjoy. One of these has been this little art magazine.
I couldn't help but pick up the DVD Bridget Jones's Baby. We didn't see it in the cinema and my hubby would have probably just talked through the screening! So I decided that I'd get it for £10 in the local supermarket when I saw it. It's always worth noting the date of a films release as the first week usually sees it being cheaper.
Did you know that Pirates of the Carribean will be taking to the high screens again soon. There's something chilling but equally alluring about these films. I for one have been drawn in by the trailer I've seen this week.
I've been enjoying wearing or rather having baby snuggles with my little ones.
Yesterday I shared with my readers that I'd created a bag using a top my eldest was given all the way from Australia. This was such a simple thing to do and hopefully it will be cherished for many more years to come.
I've been asked to be an insider for Mills & Boon. I'm looking forward to receiving books and sharing them with my readers.
What have you been up to this week?
I've still not seen Bridget Jones' Baby, I love your little bag and I wouldn't mind a baby snuggle too x
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to watch. Thank you for the compliment on my bag. Baby snuggles are the best.
DeleteThe bag looks great! I loved Bridget Jones' Baby, laughed the whole way through, hope you enjoy it. Have a great week x #LitteLoves
ReplyDeleteThank you. It was great to see the latest in the series.
DeleteI'm hoping that hubby has bought me Bridget Jones' Baby for Valentine's Day as I still haven't manage to see it.
ReplyDeleteAh it would make a great Valentines present for sure
DeleteYour week is the opposite to mine! Good to indulge, especially when it is all too easy to get lost in suffling noses and piles of tissues. I love the bag and such a great way to keep a favourite top. #wotw
ReplyDeleteOh how so?! Fortunately I've not succumbed to their colds. Just every murmur has had me awake and interrupted my sleep. Thank you for the compliment.
DeleteI haven't seen Bridget Jones baby yet, will have to get it soon. #ThatFridayLinky
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is enjoyable
DeleteI think the best way to get through weeks like this is to take it easy where you can and read and watch movies, I'm with you. I want to see that Bridget Jones film, too, must get round to it! Thanks for sharing with #WotW
ReplyDeleteThank you Jocelyn

Ahh! I watched the trailer for Pirates of the Carribean too and I like the look of it too.
Thank you Kim. They are great films.
DeleteI've not seen Bridget Jones' Baby either - I'd love to know what you thought.
ReplyDeleteAre Mills and Boon books still really racy? I read one once on holiday as a teenager and never quite recovered (it belonged to a much older lady and she leant it to me).
I've heard that series are usually a bit of a flop but I dont think that's the case here
DeleteAs for Mills and Boon I'll have to read it and see
These are all fantastic things. I'm jealous of your Bridget Jones DVD. I still haven't seen it. We subscribe to Sky and a couple streaming services though so I can't really justify buying the DVD. I need to wait until it comes onto one of our services! I also love Pirates of the Caribbean. It's good to think of self-care when times get tough. #fortheloveofBLOG
ReplyDeleteAh I wont spoil it for you. It was really good fun though. Sometimes series go down hill but I didn't feel it was the case here.
DeleteThat bag is too cute and I have just rewatched both BJ movies before catching up with the Baby one - my sister went to see it though and thoroughly enjoyed it so im looking forward to watching it! #littleloves

DeleteSelf care is so important when life gets in the way, and colds can really get you down. A good film in front of the TV is a winner everytime :) Thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo x
