Word of the Week: Sociable

Ok so this December our Christmas has so far been more ‘uh, oh’ than ‘ho, ho, ho’ as we've all succumbed to the bugs. However, it did bring the family together giving hubby an unscheduled day off work so we've had a long weekend together that has seen us join forces against the evil bugs and feel much better come Monday morning.


By the weekend we felt like getting out and getting some fresh air so we ventured to a nearby geocaching Christmas party in a village hall. We loved catching up with others as to what geocache series they’d recently done and talking about the future of the hobby. We barely ate any of the food that was laid out across the tables in the village hall though but the spread was fantastic.

The girls have also been well enough to attend two toddler groups this week too so it’s meant we've been able to catch up with other babies and their mums. Next week sees one of the toddler group’s Christmas party so we are looking forward to that.

    Super impressed that you have geocaching party in a local village hall. Lucky that you felt well enough to go. Nice to catch up with people at this time of year. Hope you have a bug free week. #wotw

      Thank you Cheryl for your lovely wishes. Geocache meets are all over the place. There's an online calendar devoted to them.

    Hi Helena, I'm so happy to read that you are beating those bugs! A geocaching Christmas party does sound interesting, did you have to follow coordinates to find the party?... Sorry couldn't resist.

    We've had a dry latter part of the week which was a relief.
