A while back I signed up to FlyLady and every day I get
emails with activities to do around the house. Although I don’t stick rigidly to these
prompts I have had fun undertaking some of the suggested things including
putting together a little book in which to collect pictures of what I’d like my
dream place to look like.
The other day I was looking at the book when I decided to
redecorate our window display in our study area adjacent to the kitchen. I removed
the fox clay sculptures and in their place put a few things from our bedroom
there instead.
Here are a few of the objects that were in our bedroom.
Ok so it is only a small change but I'm now inspired to continue
with this look throughout the room.
What inspires you to keep your house looking beautiful,
organised and tidy?

Biggest changes start with the smallest steps. I think it's great to spruce things up with moving things around. I can't wait to see what other changes you make :) #BloggerClubUK

DeleteIt's such a good idea to focus on the little things sometimes isn't it? Moving a few traeasured bits and pieces around can make all the difference. Funnily enough since I started posting a few more pictures of our interiors on Instagram that's encouraged me to try and keep things a bit tidier X #HomeEtc

ReplyDeleteCushions are really great for little changes. Even better have a number of cushion covers and change things around when the mood takes you.

ReplyDeleteyou're welcome
DeleteMy husband hates when I start moving things around but I love it. It also makes me give the place a better clean, especially shelves and windowsills. I find that having visitors is the best motivation to clear out and clean and get the house looking as well as it can.

I totally understand where you're coming from
DeleteI like to move things around until the function works for me. A the moment I am trying to decide what should REALLY be on our breakfast bar which becomes a bit of a dumping ground for all sorts! #MakingHome
ReplyDeleteOur tables are the same here. I tend to take everything off first and decide from there.
