This month I am joining forces with the #30DaysWild campaign connecting with nature and learning about the wonderful world in which we live.
Outside even more exhibitors were giving demonstrations, talking about the environment and educating children through the use of games. There was something for everyone.
Have you been to a fair all about wildlife?

It’s not often that we go into Oxford but on hearing about
the Wild Fair at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History it sounded
like too good an event to let it just pass by. This was our first visit to the
museum with our daughter and as you saw from my Living Arrows: Catching Flies post tired her out.
We let her roam free from the moment we arrived outside the
museum and she was soon wandering around. For someone so small it’s not easy juggling
a camera while tending to your child. I wonder how other bloggers do it.
Inside there were the usual attractions of dinosaurs and taxidermy. While the centre of the museum also included various stalls
devoted to local wildlife organisations and exhibits. There were also talks,
story time and lots of writing to be read but we made the decision to follow
our daughter’s lead. I am assuming it is an annual event so maybe in the future
she’ll sit still long enough to listen to the talks alongside us.
