It’s so easy to dwell on the negative sometimes and this week has seen me feel very frustrated. For my local dispensary yet again appears set to test me as they haven’t had my prescription ready in the 48 hours they ask for! It’s now Friday and they've had my prescription since Monday morning. They even phoned me up a little while after I emailed them my prescription to make sure they ordered in the right thing but still nothing! I wonder how others get on.
That aside there have been a number of things I'm thankful for this week:
- Frugal fashion: This week has been about watching hauls on Youtube and organising both my daughter's and my own wardrobe.
- Being able to drive: When I was younger I never felt the need to drive and at University there was no need as all the campuses and shops were in walking distance. Now living outside a town I love the fact I persevered and passed so I'm not trapped in my own home.
- Dodging the rain: Of course I try to get out and about while there's no clouds in the sky threatening rain
- Chivalry is not dead: It’s lovely to see how many people are kind enough to hold doors open for you.
- A Milestone: My daughter has reached another milestone: i.e. walking – she’s been cruising for a while but now she seems to be lapping up the praise as we delight in her determination to walk.
Oh no! It must be so frustrating with the pharmacy messing you about. I hope they sort everything out soon.
ReplyDeleteIf it was a one off I wouldn't be so frustrated with them
DeleteOh that is a huge milestone - there'll be no stopping her now! Hope the pharmacy sort your prescription out soon x Thanks for sharing with #WotW
ReplyDeleteI think you are right. No need for gym membership.
DeleteCongratulations on the driving, I think it's important to be able to drive even if you don't do it all the time.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting and scary that your daughter is walking now.
Sorry to confuse you. I passed a number of years ago now. Yes she's sure giving me the run around.
DeleteAwww that's it now you will have to keep watch non stop. Sorry to hear about the pharmacy, that is annoying, I hope they get it resolved X #wotw
ReplyDeleteThey are very frustrating repetitively doing it.
DeleteI hope you get the pharmacy sorted, can you try another one in future. It is very frustrating when you are waiting for important medication, it isn't as if you have a choice in these things is it! Sorry, I am sure that you don't need me to be cross for you, hope it gets fixed soon. Thank you for taking part in Five On Friday, hope you have a great weekend! xx
ReplyDeleteI have moved my pick up destination as I felt the lady was rude but unless I move doctor's the same hospital dispensary deal with my request. :(

ReplyDeleteThere's always something to test us but lots of lovely things to take notice of too.
DeleteThere is no holding her back now that she has found her feet, bless her.
ReplyDeleteTis true she sure does make me run around

ReplyDeleteIt seems to happen repeatedly. Thankfully I've got some now.
DeleteShe's fantastic and it will help both of us.
We've got rain today, and while it's not something I want to be out in we so desperately need it.
ReplyDeleteRain sucks when you want to have a good walk I agree but the crops sure need it.
Deleteoh look at her!!! Well done cutie!
ReplyDeleteShe'd thank you :)
DeleteAh she looks super pleased with herself! Lovely pic. And yes, always good to reflect and be thankful for the little things, especially when other things seem set to destroy us!
ReplyDeleteShe sure is and looking for attention and praise at all times. Very wise words.
DeleteThanks for sharing a beautiful moment, learning to walk how lovely X #WotW

DeleteHi Helena, just lost a comment so I apologies is this is a duplicate.
ReplyDeleteHope they get your prescription sorted soon, it's a pain when you have to keep going back.
Congratulations on passing your driving test. I don't actually enjoy driving, but can't imagine not being able to drive.
Fun times ahead if your little girl is walking!
xx
Hi Debbie
DeleteNo worries.
I passed my driving test a number of years ago. So I'm sorry I've confused you.
As for the meds I was told today I can set one of my midwife's on them. ;)
Yep I don't need the gym hehe.
It sure is I think I may otherwise be very house bound :(
ReplyDeleteWalking is an amazing milestone! Sorry the pharmacy has messed you about with your meds :( Thanks for linking up to #HappyDaysLinky x
