Our family are keen
geocachers having clocked up 10,000 finds and are still going. This week we
have been on a couple of geocaching adventures around the woods in our county
and our daughter has loved being in her carrier on Daddy’s back. She jumps up
and down as if to say “keep moving” to him and has even fallen asleep in it.
On Thursday we
decided to take a stroll round Stonefield and take in the views. The caches we
came across were all very unique and we enjoyed every minute of peace and quiet
out in the countryside despite it being very cold.
Of course after a good
country walk there’s nothing like sipping your favourite bottle of milk and
falling asleep as the car winds its way back home.
Where have your adventures taken you recently?

What a perfect sounding day, it sounds like you have a knack for finding those geocaches with a little help from the back pack. The views look incredible and I'm sure the tea room was most welcome to warm up before heading down to the canal. I love watching the boats along a canal and it looks like you had beautiful sunshine too. Thank you for sharing with me on #CountryKids
ReplyDeleteIt was great getting out and about but very cold. Thank you for having me.
DeleteGeocaching sounds like fun, they have it here too, but we've never tried it.
ReplyDeleteAww you really should but of course you may get hooked like us.
DeleteOh my, how did I not think about Geocaching- sounds fun and interesting. I've been reading about this now. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe view looks beautiful.
It's a great way to explore places.
DeleteWhat a lovely day! Geochaching sounds like fun. I think my son would love it. We often head out for long walks so I may have a look at doing that while we are out and about. Xxx
ReplyDeleteWhy not give it a go and get hooked on it. :)
DeleteLove that carrier - your daughter looks very comfy in it. We've not tried geocaching yet, sounds like fun though :-)
ReplyDeleteBeing made with metal I much prefer our Manduca but my husband prefers this one so he carries her. Geocaching is in my hubby's words 'walking with purpose' and lots of fun for all ages.
DeleteOh we love geocaching too - it's a fab way to get our whole family out and about. This looks like a great day and with coffee and cake thrown in too - perfect xx
ReplyDeleteGeocaching is definitely great fun and a wonderful way to explore places you may not otherwise. This is my favourite way to cache. Must pop over to your blog to read up on your geocaching adventures.
