Week 6 of #Project365 - A photo every day for a year!

This week we have been looking at where China is in the world and creating crafts in line with Chinese New Year. We have also had some fun looking at fairy tales after I was inspired by The Waldock Way's morning basket for February.  There were another two birthdays celebrated within the family and of course a geocache had to be found.

Week 6 of #Project365 - A photo every day for a year!

33/365 - 2nd February
A couple of books sneaked their way into our shopping trolley

34/365 - 3rd February
The Lego has been unleashed! Anyone else feel they're forever picking kids toys up?

35/365 - 4th February
We have spent a little time looking at maps and seeing where China is. Eldest could tell where it was in the preschool playground as she spotted the panda.

36/365 -5th February
Another birthday within the family and just what the birthday girl wished for i.e. butterflies

Week 6 of #Project365 - A photo every day for a year!

37/365 -6th February
We went for a little walk as a family and eldest found lots of muddy puddles to splash around in. Youngest was less impressed by the mud and hubby wasn't happy he only found one of two geocaches. Seeing the snow drops made me smile.

38/365 - 7th February
This week has been all about Chinese New Year celebrations both at home and at school. We made a lantern and egg carton dragon at home.

39/365 -8th February
I updated my girls book basket. Inspired by The Waldock Way I have picked out all their fairy tale books including Little Miss alternatives and picked up a few new ones from the charity shop. This princess castle was one such purchase their too and we spent the morning putting it together.

Your Chinese lantern is lovely. I don't know what the Waldock way is, but I guess it's decluttering?
