Living Arrows – 6/52 {2019}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran

I love a good linky it's a great way in which to stay connected with others and be mindful of life preserving it before it passes you by. Living Arrows is one such linky that I have discovered to be a fantastic way in which to live mindfully. I've written a few posts in the past about my girls and looking back at them now I can see that they've certainly grown. As Ruth Hulbert Hamilton wrote 'babies don't keep'.

Living Arrows – 6/52 {2019}

This week my photos reflect my daughters love in fantasy. I asked eldest to pretend to sleep so I could take a photo of Sleeping Beauty but she decided to rebel and I got a few photos of an excited daughter instead.

My second photo was taken as I swapped over the shelf to Valentines Day activities and shows my youngest engrossed in the book Guess How Much I Love You. We don't have many Valentines books on our shelf. Have you got any suggestions for reads we coul add?

  1. you can't tell a child how to pose for a photo, they'll always rebel, haha. I love your giggly Sleeping Beauty though, so sweet. My kids are a bit older now so I can't think of any younger Valentine themed books, I'm sure there is a Mick Inkpen one though ??
