Week 1 of #Project365 - A photo every day for a year!

One of the things I'd love to carry on doing this year is to take more photos. Sadly Darren Coleshill over at Photalife has called a halt on his My Sunday Photo so I was looking for another way in which to keep up the photography and stumbled across Northumberland Mam's post on #Project365. I'm sure this will be a lot of fun.

So here's my captures of the first week of 2019

1/365 - 1st January
We went for a little drive and eldest reminded us that it was the same way to see the reindeer. A short walk led to the finding of a geocache.

2/365 - 2nd January
Having admired photos on instagram from The DIY Mommy who is currently running a series of photo prompts on Hygge I thought I'd try my hand at doing one of them myself

3/365 - 3rd January
We've been chilling out and having a lot of pj days this week. Surrounded by blankets, our favourite dvds, Cbeebies and eldest donning her Christmas present - a mermaid tail which I've now got to mend!

4/365 - 4th January
I let the kids go a litte crazy and take down all the Christmas decor. I sorted it all into categories so things didn't get broken or squashed when they were put away

Nice to get out in the fresh air, and caching is a good way to do that.

  6. Now that would be a good linky to join up with. Love the idea of a photo a day. Need to check it out. That was clever of your eldest to recognize the road. Also fun way to take the decorations down. #MMBC

  7. Welcome to the project! I hope you find us to be a friendly bunch!
How cute does she look in her mermaid tail?! I'm all in favour of kids taking down the Christmas decorations, as it's really hard work! Sadly we didn't get any help here.

  9. Happy New Year and welcome to Project 365, sad to hear the My Sunday photo isn't running at the moment, but hope you enjoy this new challenge, I have yet to complete a full year, so I am hoping 2019 will be the one! Love how the children know routes to places they enjoy, and we have a mermaid tail to fix here too.
