Living Arrows – 4/52 {2019}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran

I love a good linky it's a great way in which to stay connected with others and be mindful of life preserving it before it passes you by. Living Arrows is one such linky that I have discovered to be a fantastic way in which to live mindfully. I've written a few posts in the past about my girls and looking back at them now I can see that they've certainly grown. As Ruth Hulbert Hamilton wrote 'babies don't keep'.

Living Arrows – 4/52 {2019}

This weeks photos come from visiting the Nature Discovery Centre in Newbury. Where my youngest spent most of the activity session elbow deep in water. The activity involved hooking ducks using a stick and string but youngest had other ideas. We have often been sent home from preschool with a change of clothes due to her love of water play.

My eldest loves to explore and discover new things. She was in awe of the playground she found but it was her little sister that braved the big slide and they held hands going down it. My eldest has recently been asking the same question a lot - What's that? This usually leads to me being puzzled as to what she could be pointing out so I've been asking her to describe it. What colour is it? How big is it? etc

What have you and yours got up to?

  3. Ah yes. The bag of wet clothes. I had one that used to get covered in paint. I suspect on purpose. They are all different and it is fascinating to see what interests each of them. #MMBC

  6. I've never heard of this place but Newbury isn't a million miles from us so I'll have to look it up - children just love playing with water don't they?! x
