My Likes and Loves: March 2018

Each month I like to look back on the positives that have come from the month that has soon to pass and link up with Stevie aka A Cornish Mum. Looking at the positives really is one of the loveliest things to do and of course makes you feel good. A bit like the joy of finding an Easter egg but without the calories. So lets hop to it and I'll reveal all my loves and likes to this month.

My Likes and Loves: March 2018

A Random Act of Kindness

My Likes and Loves: March 2018

First up comes our trip to Newbury not far from us and at one time where we live was once part of the same county. We went on a particularly cold day when the beast from the east was playing havoc across the county. As we walked around the area there were a number of hats, gloves and scarves tied up with messages written on them. My eldest daughter was complaining of the cold and thus we decided to borrow one of them to keep her extra warm and cosy. On the news there was also positive news of kindness with nurses walking miles to get to work too.

Fun in the Snow

My Likes and Loves: March 2018

It's great for the girls to experience new things and the snow was one thing that my eldest was keen to get out in. While her sister napped I watched from the window as my eldest explored the garden and all the snow that had fallen. I really want to get hold of one of those charts that reflects the months, the weather and the day of the week. A little while later and I suggested my hubby try building a snowman with her but both felt it too cold to do it justice.

Mothers Day Craft

My Likes and Loves: March 2018

The month of March has also seen us fully embracing kids activities with the A-Z challenge and makes for events such as Mothers Day. I particularly love the quote here and it reminds me of Christmas when the women of the families nearby seemed to know what was going on with events and presents but the husbands were clueless.

Fun at the Park

My Likes and Loves: March 2018

Of course one of the highlights of the month that is a firm favourite with everyone is going to the park. The girls love going to the big park in the area and armed with my camera I set about trying to take photos. The saying never work with children or animals is understandable as they never stay in one position very long. You also never know what you are going to quite capture so it's always worth taking lots of pictures.

Easter Makes

My Likes and Loves: March 2018

Finally I've gone Easter crazy as I have decorated the living room with eggs and bunnies. As my daughter is having a rabbit themed bedroom I'm sure as soon as Easter is over some of the decor will be popping up in her room. We've also been enjoying some Easter themed crafts and loved putting this Easter hat/bonnet together.

There we have it another month nearly over and we are a quarter through the year! What were your highlihts of March?

  2. I love March because it emerges from the winter like daffodils and snowdrops. Everything seems bigger and brighter all of a sudden. The addition of the snow was just a surprise adventure for my outdoors loving monkeys. Lots of playing in the garden and fun sledging in our park only a few metres over the road. Love it. #sharingthebloglove

  5. It has been a fabulous month hasn't it - I guess for me seeing snow on my daughters sixth birthday was pretty magical. We thought it'd be the first year we wouldn't really see her due to school and her fave after school club, but in fact we ended up all being home together in the blizzards. Definitely one to remember!
